Terms & Conditions

Billing

  1. Payment Method: Services will be billed to the customer’s credit card or established account. We accept the following cards:
    • American Express
    • MasterCard
    • Visa
    • Discover
  1. Gratuity: Please note that gratuity (also known as a tip) is not included in the fare. It is solely at the discretion of the customer/passenger and should be paid in cash directly to the driver. A 15% fuel charge will be added to the total fare. Additionally, any applicable additional charges, such as meet and greet, airport fee, tolls, parking, cell phone usage, holiday surcharge, travel time, or other incurred expenses during the trip, will be included in the bill as per city, service type, and billing terms. Any additional gratuity or cash given to the chauffeur is entirely at the customer’s discretion.
  2. Rate Changes: Please be aware that all published rates are subject to change without prior notice. The current rates provided at the time of reservation or quote are our best estimates. All rates are calculated in the local currency and billed in U.S. dollars based on the prevailing exchange rate.

Reservations

  1. Reservation Process: To secure your reservation, please make sure to book in advance and pay a deposit. Please note that the deposit is typically non-refundable in the event of a customer cancellation.
  2. Payment Requirements: Full payment for the charter service is required prior to the departure date.

Transfers / Airport Service Wait Time Policy

  1. Wait Time Charges: For transfers and airport reservations, wait time charges will be applicable after the grace period has expired. Wait time is calculated based on the hourly rate of the specific vehicle and billed in 60-minute increments. The grace period is defined as forty-five (45) minutes for commercial airports and thirty (30) minutes for all other locations, beyond the scheduled pick-up time. Please note that wait time charges will be incurred for passengers arriving more than 30 minutes late, unless changes in the arrival schedule are made at least 2 hours before the local facility’s travel time.
  2. Passenger-Requested Stops: In case passengers request stops en route during a transfer reservation, stop fees and wait time charges will apply after a 15-minute grace period. Wait time will be calculated based on the hourly rate of the specific vehicle and billed in 60-minute increments. For passenger-requested stops off the planned route during transfer reservations, charges will be based on the prevailing New York Bus Company hourly rate.

Hourly Charter / Event Services

     8. Hourly Rate or Package Rate: All hourly or event services will be billed based on the agreed hourly rate or package rate at the time of reservation. Fractions of              an hour will be rounded up to the next full hour.

Cancellations, Changes & No Shows

  1. Van: Cancellation or changes to Van bookings for transfers, hourly charter and event services within 96 hours of the scheduled pick-up will result in a full charge.
  2. Minibus & Motor Coach: Cancellation or changes to Mini Bus & Motor Coach bookings for hourly charter and event services within 30 days of the scheduled pick-up will result in a full charge.
  3. No Show Policy: A ‘No Show’ occurs when a passenger fails to arrive at the designated location or contact New York Bus Company within an hour of the scheduled pick-up time. In such cases, a ‘No Show’ fee will be equal to the full charge of the trip, including a service fee and applicable wait time.

Other

  1. Vehicle Regulations: Smoking, consumption of alcoholic beverages, and use of illegal drugs are strictly prohibited in our vehicles.
  2. Client Responsibility: The client is responsible for any damages caused to the vehicle by their party, whether intentional or accidental, during the service.
  3. Lost Items: While we will make every effort to locate lost items, we cannot be held responsible for damaged baggage, personal belongings, or any items left in the vehicle.
  4. Force Majeure: Please note that New York Bus Company and its affiliates cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather conditions, traffic, road conditions, vehicle breakdowns, acts of nature, war, or terrorism.
  5. Overtime Charges: The client is responsible for full payment of any overtime charges beyond the original agreement.
  6. Insurance Requirement: New York Bus Company may require proof of insurance for the trip, either from the customer or through a policy provided by the company.
  7. Modifications: These terms and conditions are subject to modification from time to time based on market conditions, vehicle availability, and reservation dates. Any mutually agreed-upon changes in writing or confirmed at the time of reservation will supersede the existing terms.

It is important to read and understand these terms and conditions before booking our charter bus service to ensure awareness of any applicable fees, policies, or requirements.
